Oxford

Very foggy and cold to start our weekend to celebrate Lesley's birthday. The 105 miles went by fairly quickly with a short stop at Leigh Delamare Services for a cup of coffee and a change of driver.

Some say that he is a part time adventurer, others say that he wishes he could fly to the Moon. He would just like a 40" smart 3d Tv hooked up to an Internet Connection that is faster than his present 6 mb.

Any way we arrived in good time, sorted out the water and drove onto our pitch with the minimal of fuss Hooray!

Insert day pic .............Sunday

Our Day is spent window shopping with a visit to the Pitt Rivers Museum. If you have see the Film , its like the final scene in

"Raiders of the Lost Arc", as viewed from top balcony. The cabinets are full of artifacts from all over the world including shrunken heads.

Its also Lesley's birthday, Hooray! So its of to a cafe to buy a Cup of tea and a Panini...... Ham , Mozerella and Tomato, lovely. After lunch its a walk around the "Old Market" which is open on a Sunday.

The "Ashmolean Museum" is our next visit, the Egyptian section, the carvings into stone are incredible.
